Nga taonga tuku lho
This report is about my learning of Maori traditional tools, waka, games, waiata, karakia and lots of other things.
Hector Busby
Hector Busby has weird tools to make four wakas and Hector Busby built 200 bridges. He built 33 waka.10 are in Hawaii and 22 are in NEW ZEALAND. Thats awsome and cool
Waka
- usually uses the same pattern
Carving patterns are related to nature
- On Hectors way to Rarotonga there was 7 days of storm. When they finally got there was only 1 day left before the festival finished.
- The carving on the side of the waka tells a story, Hector Busby
